How to Delete Your Fridgo Account

If you wish to permanently delete your Fridgo account and all associated data, please follow these simple steps:

1. Open the Fridgo app on your Android or iOS device
2. Navigate to Settings
3. Scroll down and tap on "Delete Account"
4. Confirm your deletion request

What Happens When You Delete Your Account?

When you delete your account:

- Your account will be permanently removed from our systems
- All your personal information will be deleted
- Your inventory data, meal plans, and shopping lists will be removed
- Your photos and custom recipes will be deleted
- Access to any shared fridges will be revoked
- Your subscription will be cancelled (no refunds for unused time)
- This action cannot be undone

Data Retention After Deletion

- Most data is deleted immediately upon account deletion
- Some data may remain in backup systems for up to 90 days for disaster recovery purposes
- After 90 days, all traces of your account will be completely removed from our systems

Alternative: Temporary Account Deactivation

If you're unsure about permanently deleting your account, you can:

- Cancel your Premium subscription and continue using the Free plan
- Simply stop using the app - your data will remain available if you decide to return
